King Township Photography Tours

 

Springhill Photography Club of King Township is planning escorted, drive yourself photography tours in the summer of 2006.  This will be an annual, on-going yearly event that is open to any all who wish to discover and photograph the natural environment, local wild life, birds, flowers and heritage buildings.

We are planning 4 guided tours on the 3rd Sunday in July, August, September and October. 

-         July 16th; Aug. 20th ; Sept 17th ; Oct 15th

 

We will plan a different route with each excursion, and provide information on the local environment, local history and more.  The photo safari will go forward rain or shine.

King Township Eco Photography

 

King Township is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine just minutes north of Toronto and other urban centres to the south.  Among other things, King provides a stunning backdrop for outdoor, nature and heritage photography.   

Enjoy a day in King hiking through old-growth forests, marshes and bogs in search of images of flora, fauna, birds and wildlife; or, stroll through the quaint villages and enjoy the historic, heritage homes.

Whether you are a seasoned 35mm or digital photographer, a novice or hobbyist, come spend the day, or the weekend enjoying all that mother nature has to offer on your photography stroll through King Township.
