c)  12 winning photographs; 1 overall winner in each category, 3 promotional winners with a total of 12 winning photo's to grace the 2008 Premiere Edition King Township Calendar

Runners Up:

a)   8 x 10 plaqued image w/brass plate of winning image.

b) Shared webpge on Tourism King Photo Centre up to 10 images each. (Appropriate images only)

c)  12 winning photographs; 1 overall winner in each category, 3 promotional winners with a total of 12 winning photo's to grace the 2008 Premiere Edition King Township Calendar

 

 

 

 

 

1.     The contest is open to all residents of King Township. There are 3 levels of entrants to this competition; ages 12 and under, 13 to 21, 21 and over.

2.     Photographers are invited to submit up to three (3) images. 

3.     Photographs will be judged collectively for composition, viewer appeal and relevance to the attraction for tourism to the Township of King.  All subject matter will be judged as one category.

4.     When submitting photographs for consideration, please supply, name, address, age and contact information for administration purposes only.  Entrants should advise whether they wish credit for their photograph when placed on the website; or alternatively wish to remain unidentified.

5.     All submitted images will be placed on the wesbite and visitors to the website will be invited / asked to review submissions and indicate their preference for most appealing images. Images may be reduced in size as necessary for ease of handling. We will attempt to maintain image integirty as best as possible in these circumstances.

6.     The top 4 images in each level, as selected by the wesbite visitors, will be reviewed by a 3 member panel, and placing in the contest will utlimately be the panel's decision.

 

Submission of photography relating to the King Township Photograph Contest implies consent and release for publication of image(s) on the website.  Photographers maintain all other copyrights.
